On Thursday January 3, the lives of 7 people including 5 children from a church in Marksville, Louisiana as well as one of our own, Freddie (Formerly Stitch) were claimed in a tragic accident.
The accident occurred just North of Gainesville, Florida involving two semi-trucks, two automobiles and a church van. The accident according to the Florida Highway Patrol began when a semi-truck was heading north on I-75 suddenly veered left and crashed into a car driven by Robyn Rattray, of Gainesville, Florida. The semi-truck and the passenger car plowed through the guardrail and into the southbound lanes of I-75 striking another semi-truck and the church van. The massive pileup became a fireball.
Robyn, A member of the Faithful Friends family was injured in this tragic accident and fortunately is recovering well. Her Faithful Friend Freddie, unfortunately did not survive the accident.
